Campus Life Employee Resource Group Application Part 1

CLERGs are employee-led groups established around common interests or identities. CLERGs enable Campus Life employees to create supportive professional communities and provide opportunities for networking, mentoring, advocacy, and professional development.

This application must be approved before advertising the initial meeting. We acknowledge that most of the information in this application is in draft form and will be finalized after the first meeting of your CLERG.

What is the name of your CLERG?
(Make the name short and clear. ECL staff should know what the group is about from the name.)
What is the mission of your CLERG?
(See ELC’s mission statement as an example.)
What are the goals of your CLERG?
(Be as specific as possible. Keep in mind the CLERG responsibilities on page 2 of the information document.)
What is your target population for membership?
(i.e. Black staff, women staff, parents with children under 14, staff working on publications)
Write a short introductory email to target members providing a brief description of the CLERG and an invitation to the initial meeting.
(The meeting must be scheduled at least two weeks away from date of Application Part I submission.)
